Natalie Garwood

I am Michigan's 2024 Journalism Education Association (JEA) and Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA) Journalist of the year, and an alumna of Utica High School, where I served as a student journalist on the Arrow newspaper and Warrior yearbook. My area of expertise is photojournalism, though I have lots of experience in writing, design, leadership, and social media, too.  I have been a student journalist since I joined yearbook in eighth grade, and I have built up quite the portfolio in my years.
